Since Gotham made its debut on FX, fans have wondered just how some of DC Comics’ most iconic characters would fit into the show. Staples like Jim Gordon and Bruce Wayne have been present in reimagined ways, and the same can be said for some of the franchise’s baddies. From the Joker to Poison Ivy, a slew of villains from Batman have made themselves known on Gotham in albeit vague ways. Now, Selina Kyle is preparing to bring her comics alter-ego to light in a more obtuse way, and Camren Bicondova is looking forward to the change.

In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, the actress talked about her work on Gotham and hinted at when fans will see Selina transition into Catwoman more so.

“Especially after this next episode airs, Episode 13; I think she’s actually going to believe in herself and she’s actually going to believe that she’s a strong independent person,” Bicondova said.

“I think she’s always said that to make herself feel better and make it easier for her to live and survive, but after instances that are going to be occurring in her life soon, I think they’re actually going to force her to actually believe that she is this strong independent young lady instead of just telling herself that. I think that’s one step she’s going to be taking to becoming Catwoman.”
