iZombie, based on the Vertigo Comics title of the same name, follows Olivia ‘Liv’ Moore (Rose McIver), a medical examiner who is turned into a zombie after a freak accident at a boat party. While Liv initially isn’t happy with her newfound eating habits, she uses the visions she receives from the brains she eats to solve crimes with the Seattle Police Department.

The third season gives Liv a whole new slew of brains to eat, causing her to adopt the hilarious personalities of everyone from a dominatrix to a preschool teacher to a Dungeons and Dragons DM. Along the way, it takes the show’s zombie lore to a whole new level, building up to a finale you have to see to believe.

iZombie wrapped its third season just last week, but thanks to the deal between Warner Bros. Television and Netflix, fans can already enjoy the thirteen-episode season in its entirety. If you don’t have access to Netflix, episodes can be found on The CW’s app, and the season will also have a DVD and Blu-Ray release in October.

But in terms of easy access to iZombie‘s third season, look no further than Netflix. And if you do decide to quickly binge all of the season, don’t fret – a fourth one is on the way, and will most likely air in early 2018.

In the third season, Liv has discovered there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed. In fact, there is a private military contractor employing a small zombie army, and that army is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major finds a job and acceptance in this army.

Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family that may just set off an all-out zombie-human war. Ravi’s former boss at the Center for Disease Control shows up in Seattle to investigate the Max Rager massacre. Blaine finds living as a human with no memory of his evil past is more blessing than curse. Peyton pulls at a thread in one of her cases that may lead to the villain that’s pulling all the strings.

This season, Liv will eat the brains and take on the traits of a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and many more.

Along the way, there will be a lot of corporate intrigue, some relationships tested to their breaking point, and a zombie speakeasy called “The Scratching Post.”
