‘Justice League’ May Be Preparing For Reshoots Of Themyscira

The DC Extended Universe hurtled into theaters earlier this year with a stellar outing thanks to Wonder Woman. Now, it looks like Justice League is honing in on the film’s charm and circling the island of Themyscira for its own reshoots.

The folks over at Batman News found a rather interesting post by one of Wonder Woman‘s actresses. Madeleine Vall Beijner, who played an Amazon warrior, took to Twitter to hint at her involvement with Justice League reshoots.

If you check out her Instagram, you will see that Vall Beijner shared a photo of herself from Wonder Woman. The actress is flanked by two of her co-stars, and she says she will be seeing the pair again in Themyscira soon.

“In less than three weeks I will be reunited with these badass amazon warriors again!!,” she wrote. “Also, in Themiscyra (Italy) at the same location where we were shooting the movie #WONDERWOMAN. Can’t wait to go back,” she captioned the image.

The actress does not reference Justice League by name, but the timing of Vall Beijner’s post has fans buzzing. Reshoots for the DC flick have taken up most of the summer, and Justice League may wrap its additional filming in Italy with the Amazons.

After all, the movie will feature the warriors in a big way since the villain Steppenwolf seems to enter Earth from Themyscira. The trailers for Justice League have also teased a flashback to the Amazons first battle against Steppenwolf centuries ago. Vall Beijner’s post does call out her work with Antiope with a few hashtags, and she uses “#training” and #stunt” as well.

With Justice League set to premiere in November, the Themysciran reshoot is cutting the release close. Joss Whedon is in-charge of piecing together the movie’s final edit, so the director must have a clear idea of how things need to be to please fans. So, if Whedon and Warner Bros. think Justice League needs another go at Themyscira, then who are fans to say otherwise?
