When Justice League premiered its first footage at San Diego Comic-Con, fans were surprised at how many jokes made it into the short montage. That has lifted hopes for the upcoming team flick significantly, with the new forecast being cautious optimism.

Justice League Animated Trailer

That has never been much of an issue for DC's animated universe, as those movies always seem to strike a nice balance between mature storytelling and humor. Youtube creator Meridanite decided to overlay the audio from the Justice League trailer over some matching clips from the animated catalog. Luckily the animated universe has a lot to choose from, so he didn't have a lack of content to work with.

In the new trailer, clips can be seen from Justice League War (2014), Claymore (Anime), Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League: The New Frontier, Flashpoint Paradox, and Justice League: The Animated Series.

While the animation style differs from film to film, it is typically a subtle change, so the films still are similar enough to not feel chopped up here. One of the highlights of the trailer is the Flash sequence. Meridanite overlays the sound effect of the Batarang sailing by Flash in midair from the trailer, and then includes a fight between Flash and Robin alongside it.
