Making Of The New Batsuit Video Released

Warner Brothers and DC Films have released a new featurette focusing around the creation and inspiration for the new Batsuit seen in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

"The greatest thing about the new costume is that we got the grey back," says Geoff Johns, executive producer on several upcoming DC Films. "We've been armored and black and it's cool, they've done it, and now the fact that we get to go back to this grey look with the big black bat..."

Costume designer Michael Wilkinson also chimed in to describe to the approach on Ben Affleck's Batman's Batsuit. "Zack really wanted the costume to look like it had been around for a long time. From head to toe there's wear and tear, there's scratches, there's bulletholes... There's all sorts of signs that he's been out there on the streets for a long time."

The new clip is part of the massive list of bonus features packed into the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition blu-ray set. The blu-ray is available now.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film also stars Oscar nominees Amy Adams ("American Hustle," "Man of Steel") as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg ("The Social Network") as Lex Luthor, Diane Lane ("Unfaithful," "Man of Steel") as Martha Kent, and Laurence Fishburne ("What's Love Got to Do with It," "Man of Steel") as Perry White; Oscar winners Jeremy Irons ("Reversal of Fortune") as Alfred, and Holly Hunter ("The Piano") as Senator Finch; and Gal Gadot (the "Fast and Furious" films) as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition is now available on Digital HD and will be available on Blu-Ray on Tuesday, July 19.
