When you think of vampires, who comes to mind? Dracula? The boys from Twilight? There are plenty of pop culture creatures of the undead persuasion, and tons of living icons have also become blood-suckers for brief periods of time. Even DC Comics got on-board with the trend when they turned Batman into a rather batty vampire in the 1991 series Batman and Dracula: Red Rain. And, now, you can bring a piece of that supernatural history to your homes with a spooky new figurine by Mondo.
The company has created an exclusive Red Rain Statue of Batman to usher in the Halloween season. The dark, creepy figurine is based loosely on the actual Red Rain comics and sourced more so from a poster inked by Francesco Francavilla.
The 15" figure depicts a lean, hunchbacked Batman with exaggerated features. The character sports furrowed red eyes and prolonged fangs which are just as sharp as the stake in his hand. Dressed in a wispy black cloak, the figure stands upon rocky ground littered with vibrant red skulls. And, of course, there is an antiquated tombstone included in the piece that features the last name 'Wayne.'
The item will run you about $255 and will officially ship next year. Pre-sales for the figure sold out shortly after going live, so interested buyers can only hope there will be figures available for purchase in 2017.

"Batman Red Rain is a DC Comics Elseworlds tale, in which the Dark Knight battles the infamous Dracula, ultimately becomes a vampire himself in the process. Inspired by Francesco Francavilla's poster of the same name, the Batman: Red Rain statue depicts Batman as a vampire stalking the night and hunting his own kind, while attempting to stave off his own hunger for blood."
If all else fails, fans will always be able to catch-up with Vampire!Batman in his comic books. The Elseworlds series follows Gotham's vigilante as he investigates a series of brutal murders and eventually learns that a cover of vampires now den in his city. When Batman infiltrates their lair, he comes face-to-face with Dracula who turns Bruce Wayne into an immortal vampire. The series has two sequels which continue to explore Batman's transformation into a bloodsucker and watches as the hero seeks revenge for the turn.
