The Shaman acted as a gateway into the world of evil for young Bruce Wayne, but it’s time for his true master to arrive. On this Monday’s season finale of Gotham, Ra’s al Ghul is finally set to appear.

In a new featurette, Fox shows off the first look at the legendary villain, speaking to Bruce at what appears to be a Lazarus pit.

Alexander Siddig (Game of Thrones) is portraying al Ghul, and he spends some time in this featurette talking about bringing the character to life, and the influence he wants to have on Bruce in the show. Fellow stars David Mazouz and Erin Richards also talk a bit about his coming debut.

“With the deadly virus spreading throughout the city, the search for the antidote continues, as Fish Mooney (guest star Jada Pinkett Smith), The Riddler and Penguin reveal plans of their own.
