Warner Bros. and DC Films announced Zachary Levi will play the titular hero of the Shazam! movie yesterday and the fan artwork imagining what Levi could look like in the role has already started.

Shared on the DC Comics Reddit community, an artist by the name of Datrinti took a serious spin on DC's "big red cheese" with Levi looking ready for action and potentially just after transformation into the hero. You can check out the art in the photo below.

The photo has Levi in a costume that looks like an updated version of Shazam's classic outfit complete with the flowing white cape, though this imagining appears to have more bronze-toned accents rather than the hero's more familiar gold touches.

This latest image is the second artistic look at Levi as Shazam that we've seen since the casting announcement was made. BossLogic also posted his own art imagining Levi as Shazam and today, Levi himself shared the piece, commenting that not only "honored and greatly humbled" to be playing the role but that he is already working out to get in physical condition for the role as well, joking that he'll be in the gym "for the rest of forever" getting ready for the role.

Shazam! currently has a 3.55 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating, making it the twentieth most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com users. Let us know how excited you are about Shazam! by giving the film your own personal ComicBook.com User Rating below.
