Spoilers for Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps issue #10 from here on out, so you’ve been warned.
If you’ve been following the ongoing adventures of the returning Green Lantern Corps, you know that the John Stewart led group answered a distress call on a neighboring planet. They encountered a populace under attack from the longtime DC villain Starro, and only survived the encounter thanks to Soranik Natu and her remaining Fear Corps members coming to their aid.
Starro pulled an about face however and retreated off-planet, though when the corps attempted to enter pursuit, a force field kept them from leaving the planet’s radius. It was revealed to be the workings of an old Brainiac vessel, who had placed the planet along with all of the Lanterns in a containment unit, adding them to the already impressive collection. While this Brainiac does attend to the collection, it is not his.
At the end of the issue, the unit delivers the newly captured prey to the Grand Collector, who is revealed to be none other than Larfleeze, the lone ringbearer of the Avarice Corps of Greed. He hugs his new prize tightly as he declares “and they’re MINE!” to close the issue.

Larfleeze has been absent since Rebirth kicked into gear, but it looks like he will play a big part in not only the next issue but hopefully in the reuniting of the Lantern Corps remnants and the newly revived Hal Jordan.
