It’s finally here. After months of waiting, the guys over at Screen Junkies have gifted fans with the ultimate holiday gift. The popular Youtube channel has given Suicide Squad an honest trailer – and it is about a brutal as you’d think.

The video kicks off with zingers right off the bat. “After the mixed reception to their last movie, Warner Bros. probably regrets spending six weeks on the script for this one,” it says, and that might be the most tame insult Screen Junkies flings at the super villain flick.

“Honest Trailers – Suicide Squad” has no mercy when it comes to tackling the film’s noted plot confusion and character exposition. At one point, it even takes a jab at other superhero flicks when it notes how similar Suicide Squad and other films like Iron Man, Avengers, and others are. Apparently, there is some sort of blockbuster fascination with CGI armies and massive pillars of light.

You can watch the full video below, but be warned. Fans of Suicide Squad definitely won’t be amused by the straight-up massacre this satirical video ushers in. Jared Leto’s Joker never stood a chance against these critics.

Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Written and directed by David Ayer, the film starred Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, and Viola Davis. The cast also included Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach, and Karen Fukuhara in her feature film debut.
