The floor is now open for preview night at Comic-Con International: San Diego and the ComicBook.com team is on site to bring you the news as it breaks. Exploring the Comic-Con floor, we came upon the Hot Toys booth, which had a surprising new Suicide Squad collectible figure on display.

The figure in question is labeled “Joker (Batman Imposter Versions).” The figure is masked but seems to be modeled on Jared Leto’s Joker from Suicide Squad, complete with dental fixtures. The costume itself resembles the Batman suit from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but with the color scheme changed to green and purple. There have also been additional details added to mimic the Joker’s tattoos, including the “Damaged” tattoo on his forehead, the “J” under his left eye, and the “Ha ha ha” pattern on his leg.
It seems like this could be a big reveal for Suicide Squad, indicating that the Joker will, at some point, dress up as his own deranged version of the caped crusader. On the other hand, Funko recently introduced an entire line of collectibles based on the idea of villains masquerading as Batman, so there is the possibility that this collectible is simply a product of the imagination. However, the Funko line is based on no Batman or story in particular, while this Hot Toys figure is very specifically labeled as a Suicide Squad product, and the company is known for creating incredibly accurate recreations of characters as they actually appear on film.
