The CW’s four-part “Heroes vs. Aliens” DC Comics television crossover event got off to a solid rating start with last night’s episode of Supergirl.
The episode, titled “Medusa,” scored a solid 1.1 rating in the core 18-49 demographic, and was watched by 3.51 million viewers in total. That an uptick from last week’s episode of Supergirl that puts the ratings for “Medusa” on par with the second season premiere of Supergirl.

Last night’s Supergirl only just set off the crossover television event. The bulk of the episode was a standard continuation of Supergirl‘s story, with just the end leading into the crossover story that will continue through tonight’s episode of The Flash, the 100th episode of Arrow on Wednesday, and Thursday’s episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
Also airing last night was Gotham‘s midseason finale episode on Fox, “Mad City: Beware the Green-Eyed Monster.” as well as the midseason finale of Lucifer, “Quid Pro Ho.” Both performed solidly, with Gotham drawing a 1.1 rating and 3.65 million viewers, and Lucifer delivering a 1.2 and 4.4 million viewers.
