The Batman: Arkham series of games was a groundbreaking way for fans to be the Bat in spectacular fashion across a series of four videogames with ever-increasing Gotham City landscapes to explore. Just as much a constant as Batman, though, is the Joker, whose threat ranges from physical to behind-the-scenes chaos, to even being quite literally in Batman’s head.

Now, the Joker from the original Batman: Arkham Asylum can live on your shelf, with a high-quality 1/6th scale recreation from Hot Toys. The new figure is an addition to a large line of Joker figs, but their first 1/6th scale one from the Batman: Arkham series. Previously, they’ve done multiple variations of the Joker from The Dark Knight, Batman (1989), and Suicide Squad, amongst others. This is one of the closest to a straight comic book version of The Joker they’ll have in their lineup, thanks to him being a little closer in style to what’s found on the printed page (excepting a receeding hairline and darker/dirtier suit). A previous 24″ Premium Format Joker Arkham Asylum figure was released.
In their announcement, Hot Toys described the toy and its accessories:
“The collectible figure is expertly crafted based on the appearance of The Joker in the game. It features a newly sculpted head sculpt with Joker’s iconic grin on his face, newly developed body, skillfully tailored costume, a number of detailed weapons and accessories including a pistol, injection gun, chattering teeth explosive, and a figure stand with specially designed backdrop.”
Take a look through the gallery below for shots of all the accessories in use, and angles showing off the new figure in detail. No release date or price was revealed in the announcement, but it should be coming this year.
