After the immense success of the summer’s biggest hit at the box office, it pretty much went without saying that a sequel to Wonder Woman was inevitable.

If you were disappointed they didn’t announce it at San Diego Comic-Con, worry not because Warner Bros. just revealed the official release date for Wonder Woman 2.

Gal Gadot will reprise her role for the movie, expected to hit theaters December 13, 2019. Patty Jenkins is still in negotiations to direct the role, but we’re guessing at this point Warner Bros. is having difficulty locating a wheelbarrow large enough to contain all of the money she’ll be getting.

In Wonder Woman, before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

Gal Gadot made her debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. She will return as Wonder Woman alongside the DC Extended Universe’s other heroes in Justice League, opening in November 2017.

Wonder Woman was directed by Patty Jenkins from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, based on a story by Heinberg, Zack Snyder, and Jason Fuchs. Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, and Elena Anaya.
