Dressing up like a superhero might seem cool, but it isn’t all actors crack it up to be. Between punishing workouts and countless fittings, squeezing into a super-suit is easier said than done. Costumes for Spider-Man and Iron Man have been notorious difficult to wear, but Wonder Woman has found a loophole around the issue. According to Gal Gadot, donning the DC heroine’s costume is actually rather enjoyable.

Speaking with Yahoo Movies, the Wonder Woman star told the site her costume was no longer difficult to wear. “It’s pretty comfortable. We had to make it comfortable because I wore it over six months,” she explained, referring to the production of Wonder Woman.
Still, there is one downside to the costume which no seamstress to could fix. The reveal outfit may be empowering, but it is definitely not weather-proof.
“It was cold when we were shooting outside in London during the winter,” Gadot admitted before adding, “It’s a pretty comfortable costume.”
The actress’ admission is notably different from the one she gave during Batman v Superman press rounds. When Gadot was promoting her debut at Wonder Woman, the star said her original costume literally made her breathless.
Talking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Gadot told the host she was so grateful for the role but that dressing like Wonder Woman was hard work. “I walked into this huge hangar filled with images of me as Wonder Woman, which was surrealโฆ Then they got me into the fitting room and tried on the costume,” she recounted. “And I was so happy and so grateful for being there and doing this role that I didn’t say anything about the fact it was so tight, I literally could not breathe.”
Clearly, someone working behind-the-scenes noticed how grueling Wonder Woman’s suit was to wear. By the time Gadot began work on her standalone outing, the iconic hero’s costume had been altered, and its leather corset was let out just enough to give Gadot some much-needed breathing room.
