The first go-around was such a blast for everyone that Boss Key Studios has decided to do it again.

Following a successful first closed beta for the forthcoming multiplayer game, the developer has announced that a second one will be kicking off this weekend, running from May 18th at 9 AM PDT through May 21st at 9 PM PDT. That’s almost four days of shooting your friends like crazy.

In addition, this second beta will enable players to try out a new character, who’s joining the ranks of the regular cast. This new character is named Wraith, who’s described as a ninja-cyborg sort of warrior that can utilize triple jumps and wall jumps, as well as executing attacks like an exploding blade melee. That means you can hit someone and create an explosion, we believe โ€“ and that sounds awesome.

But this character will also be able to slow down time for more accurate attacks. We haven’t seen this attack in effect yet, but it sounds like it’ll be very cool, to say the least.

Those that sign up for the beta will also be able to access additional content, including a new map called Reactor, as well as an additional mode for Blitzball, custom map options that let you change up certain rules within the game, and a new Spectator mode, in case you feel like watching all the action without having to take out anyone.

You can check out the details on the forthcoming Closed Beta in the video above, and get a glimpse at what content will be coming to the game.

Those that are interested in signing up for the beta can do so on the official page here. Signing up doesn’t guarantee you a code, but it never hurts to try โ€“ and there will certainly be a lot of giveaways this weekend through social media as well. So there’s a pretty good chance you’ll be able to jump in and play.

Lawbreakers doesn’t have a release date yet, but is expected to arrive on PC later this year. There’s also a slight possibility that it could come to consoles, but nothing has been finalized just yet.
