WWE 2K18 could very well have the biggest roster of wrestlers in video game history. We’re talking hundreds of superstars from the Smackdown, Raw, NXT, 205 Live line-ups, as well as a few legends thrown in for good measure. And a little while back, things got even more interesting when the boss himself, Mr. McMahon, was confirmed to be a playable wrestler.

Still, there’s always room for one more – or, in this case, two more, as 2K Sports has announced a pair of new additions to the roster that will no doubt be fun for anyone that grew up with wrestling in the 80’s and 90’s.
Papa Shango
First up is Papa Shango, the Voodoo-like wrestler that first made an appearance in the 90’s. He had several legendary feuds in his time with the business, including against the Ultimate Warrior, in which he cast a very interesting spell. However, the wrestler, going under the name Charles Wright, really went on to claim his fame with his next gimmick, The Godfather, who was given a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2016. Funny thing – The Godfather is a playable wrestler in WWE 2K18 as well, and you can actually pit the two characters against one another. Who will win?!
Albert
Yes, that weird-looking superstar wrestler who teamed up with Trish Stratus a long time ago – and the one that could draw the “Shave your back!” chants like a boss – is included in the game. Known in real life as Matt Bloom, he went on to stardom for several years in the company, before joining the WWE development league down in Florida to train up-and-coming NXT superstars. Having him in the game will no doubt be a lot of fun, especially when you pit him against more current WWE wrestlers. Let’s see him destroy Roman Reigns, yeah?
WWE 2K18 releases on October 17th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
