Destiny 2: Exodus Crash Prestige Nightfall Strike Is Still Broken, Here’s How to Fix It

If you and your buddies loaded up the most recent Prestige Nightfall Strike, “Exodus Crash,” after the reset, you may have met a very frustrating end. Players are still getting taken down not by enemies, but by a bug in the second half of the strike that prevents them from proceeding.

After a skirmish where you have to defend your Ghost, you’ll be asked to proceed to the “Exodus Black’s Aft,” and from there, you’ll be tasked with running through a series of Arc Pulses to analyze them. These arc pulses, for most players, will never spawn, and eventually your strike timer will run out and you’ll fail.

This has been an issue for a while now, and this week players were furious to discover that Bungie had added the strike back into the Nightfall rotation without fixing the issue. Thankfully for you, many players have discovered an odd workaround that seems to work every time. Here’s how to fix the bug.

Here’s the fix!

In the video above, you’ll see exactly what you and your Fireteam will need to do to get around this bug, but you’ll have to be fast, since this will shave off about a minute from your clock.

After the Ghost skirmish, have one member of your Fireteam stay behind in the area, while the other two race ahead into the new area where the arc pulses should spawn. As soon as you get into the new area, you’ll hear Failsafe begin to speak. As soon as that happens, turn tail and backtrack all the way to the beginning area of the Strike — all three of you.

From there, the three of you will need to speed back to the new area, where the arc pulses were originally supposed to spawn, and this time, they should actually show up. It should go without saying, but all of this should be done on a sparrow and as quickly as possible. Time will be working against you.

It’s a frustrating workaround that we shouldn’t even have to be sharing right now, but there it is. Hopefully with the above steps, and the video to guide you, you and your clan can make it through this Prestige Nightfall Strike this week!
