There are loads of fancy gaming chairs out there, but you would be hard-pressed to find something as awesome as one of the designs in Arcade Sofa line from French design studio Harow. I’m sure that anyone who remembers heading to the arcade with a pocket full of quarters certainly wouldn’t mind sacrificing some to those plush velvet cushions. Even a smartphone would be okay now and then.
Currently, Harow is showcasing 21 Arcade Sofa designs based on fighting games like Street Fighter and The King of Fighters. Other sofas feature designs based on movies and pop culture, including Aliens, Jurassic Park, Toy Story, Drive, Dragon Ball, Hello Kitty (reserved by Deadpool) and a mashup of characters from Sponge Bob to Spider-Man.

The sofas are built to order from recycled wood, steel and velvet. You can even get them in custom sizes and configurations (the base model is 49″ x 43″ x 59″). There are no details on pricing, but this is definitely one of those “if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it” types of situations. Interested parties can learn more here.
