Following today’s awesome Call of Duty: WWII panel, Activision has released a batch of fresh new screenshots for the forthcoming Zombies mode of the game, as well as some additional details in terms of what to expect from the characters and the forthcoming mode.
First off, wow. Check out the Zombies screenshots in the attached gallery. It looks like these guys mean some serious business, especially with their rebuilt frames and insatiable appetite for human flesh. Make sure you bring plenty of firepower to deal with them.

Sledgehammer Games also provided some first information on the characters in the game, including Ving Rhames (Jefferson Potts), David Tennant (Drostan Hynd), Elodie Yung (Olivia Durant) and Katheryn Winnick (Marie Fischer). Their descriptions are below:
- Jefferson Pottsโ Strong, assured, and educated, Jefferson has both the military and academic prowess the MFAA need.
- Olivia Durantโ A former art historian of the Musรฉe du Louvre, and weapons expert, she is an extremely savvy and capable member of the team.
- Drostan Hyndโ A former art thief, this brash and rough character was given a choice: go to jail, or help reclaim stolen art.
- Marie Fischerโ A brilliant engineer and tactician, Marie attempts to help salvage stolen treasures and rescue her brother, Klaus.
Of course, it isn’t long before they’re taking on the creations of Doctor Peter Glucksbringer, played by Udo Kier.

Players will embark on a chilling, dark and mysterious journey through
Mittelburg, a snowy Bavarian village in Germany, as they attempt to recover priceless works of art stolen by the Axis powers in World War II.
This village holds a secret key to an unimaginable and monstrous power, so visitors must be on their toes and beware of the twisted and occult horrors that guard these treasures.
