The Fighter Pack 3 for Injustice 2 looks to be NetherRealm’s biggest yet, offering up not only the Atom, but also the Enchantress from Suicide Squad as well as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And this Thursday, we’ll get our first glimpse into the fighter pack, as the developer has a huge live stream set to go featuring its pint-sized hero.

Fans will be able to tune in to NetherRealm’s Twitch channel this Thursday, December 7th, at 3:00 CST to see the Atom in action. He’ got an interesting move set, between punches and kicks he can execute at regular size, as well as moves that he can pull off in tiny form. It’ll be interesting to see how it all comes together during the stream.
NetherRealm noted on the Injustice 2 Twitter feed, “Our smallest stream yet! Tune in for The Atom on Thursday! Twitch.tv/Netherrealm” before joking at the bottom, “Stream will be regular sized.” (You can see the tweet and the promo image for the stream below.)

The stream should lead in to the Atom’s release sometime this month, with the Enchantress set to follow in January and the Ninja Turtles in February, if all goes according to schedule. Following that, there’s rumors that Injustice 2 could be getting a second season of content, but they haven’t been confirmed just yet. (Ed Boon is making an appearance at The Game Awards this Thursday, though, so you never know.)
To further mark the occasion, producer Ed Boon tweeted out the following image today. Get it? It’s an Atom trailer!
For now, however, this forthcoming gameplay footage should be very promising to fans of Injustice 2, as we’ll be able to see just what the Atom is made of โ and he can, ahem, size up his opponents properly.
Injustice 2 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
