Back in early May, NetherRealm Stuidios announced the first three DLC characters as part of a fighter pack trailer. As part of that trailer, Injustice 2 fans were given their first official look at Red Hood, as seen in the image below.
Little was revealed in the fighter pack announcement trailer. Red Hood makes his entrance, twirls his gun, and then strikes a pose with two other DLC characters. In addition to Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero were also introduced in the fighter pack announcement trailer.
Red Hood Official Bio
Shortly after NetherRealm Studios introduced Red Hood, Warner Bros. released Red Hood’s official bio for the game on the Injustice 2 website.
According to the bio,ย Jason Todd once served as Batman’s second protรฉgรฉ “Robin” before being brutally murdered by The Joker. Years later, the powerful healing waters of the Lazarus Pit brought Jason Todd back to life. However the power of the pit comes at a cost, and a change takes hold in Jason. He now uses mantle of the Red Hood to wage a lethal war on crime.
In addition to the bio, Warner Bros. also released the new image or Red Hood below.
Warner Bros. also released a quote, which sums up Red Hood’s philosophy on crime-fighting pretty succintly:ย “CAN’T FIGHT CRIME WITHOUT CRACKING A FEW SKULLS.”
