Multiple mediums of entertainment are colliding for the first of what we expect will be many collaborations between Injustice 2 and the DC Comics cinematic universe. To celebrate the upcoming release of Wonder Woman, NetherRealm Studios has rendered out some epic new gear to reflect the style and aesthetic of Gal Gadot’s representation of this classic heroine.
Whether you’re playing Injustice 2 on consoles or mobile, you’ll be able to unlock this gear — but you’ll have to act fast. This is a limited-time promotion and the only sure way to get this new loadout will be to participate in a very special single-player event in the game.
If you miss out on the event this week, you’ll still be able to eventually unlock this gear, but you’ll likely have to wait. The Wonder Woman gear will be added to the pool of random gear rewards after this promotion concludes, so you’ll still see it eventually, but if you want to unlock it for sure then we have the details for you below.
When, Where, and How?
Wondering where and how to pick up the new duds for yourself? You’ll have to earn them, but it shouldn’t be too hard. Starting today, you’ll find a special Multiverse event called “To End All Wars.” If you are able to complete the event before this special promotion ends, you’ll be rewarded with the full set of Wonder Woman’s gear from the upcoming film.
The event period will last until June 5, so you have one week to get in there and kick some ass. With most Multiverse events you get to choose any character from the roster, but with this event we assume that you’ll have to play as Wonder Woman.
There’s also a chance that most of the gear will be too high-level for you to equip right away. If you don’t use Wonder Woman very often, then you may need to do a little bit of grinding before you’re able to equip the full set. But that’s not a problem. That’ll just ensure that you actually can fight like a badass while looking like a badass.
