New League Of Legends Skins Urgot Needs After His Release

Abilities, roles, and lore aside, one of the best things that comes out of each League of Legends champ that gets reworked, such as Urgot, is the promise of upgraded skins, assuming that the rework is indeed a Visual and Gameplay Update as opposed to just a Gameplay Update. These skins are a win-win situation for everyone involved; those devoted champion mains who stuck to their (knee) guns get rewarded by having the skins that they’ve already purchased updated, and Riot Games is able to sell more of some previously underwhelming skins.

Aside from Urgot’s base model that now looks fantastic and nightmarish, the Dreadnought has only three skins that he’s working with: Battlecast Urgot, Giant Enemy Crabgot, and the Legacy skin called Butcher Urgot, the last two of which now have some of the best character-fitting splash arts in the game.

Urgot doesn’t have the lowest number of skins โ€” other champs like Yorick have him beat with The Gravedigger only having two skins โ€” but with his number so low, a new skin on release or shortly after doesn’t seem too out of the question. With that, here are a few skins for Urgot, one of them quite sparkly, that we, and the community, would definitely like to see.

Corporate Urgot

The only Corporate skin that we have in the game currently belongs to Dr. Mundo, a champion who looks like he could use an update and doesn’t receive too much playtime currently. Tossing briefcases around and worried about hitting deadlines instead of turrets, Mundo’sย skin could be applied to Urgotย with ease.

With his Passive and his W that puts his kneecaps on rapid fire mode, instead of shooting out explosions, he could instead shoot out endless streams of paperwork. His ultimate might be a bit trickier, but throw in a quote about getting terminated or reference the corporate grind and you’re in business.

If there’s any doubt as to why we need this skin, theย League of Legends boards have you covered. It didn’t take long after Urgot’s reveal for skin suggestions to pop up, and Corporate Urgotย was one of the first to appear. What would he look like? A true monster, of course, as this image of Henry J. Waternoose fromย Monsters Inc. quickly made the rounds.

Santa Urgot

Urgot doesn’t seem to be the jolliest of champions with his Chem-Tech augmentations and hideously scarred body, but that doesn’t mean that he can’t get into the holiday spirit like Zilean, Malzahar, Sivir, and other champions have in the past with their snowy skins.

He’s already big enough to fill out a Santa suit well,ย as long as Braum doesn’t mind sharing the skin idea,ย and putting a Santa hat or some reindeerย ears stop his bald head would help make him look more handsome than the big guy already is.

Snow being shot out as a weapon seems like a no-brainer, and a jingling sound effect on his short-range dash would work as well. His ultimate ability could also be recoloredย to look like a candy cane as he reels enemies into a minty death.

Risen Urgot

Fiddlesticksย isn’t too creepyย of a champion despite what his design might suggest, but his Risen skin changes that. A mummified, reborn versionย of Fiddlesticks, this skin is much darker than the scarecrow’s base skin, and the ominous skin could be applied to Urgotย as well.

One of the main reasons that this skin would work so well with Urgotย is due to the change in the champion’s lore that’s coming with his impending release. Previously, Urgotย was cut down by Garenย while the Demacianย was defending Jarvanย IV. The Noxianย Headsman was cut in half, but Noxusย wasn’t about to let him go and instead reanimated him and gave him Chem-Tech augmentations to create a new, undead warrior.

As champions and their lore are updated, it’s not uncommon for classic skins to be released that pay homage to their previous forms. A Zombie, Undead, or Risen skin for Urgotย would do just that.

Since his kit has been revealed, some players have compared Urgot’s new Juggernaut kit to something that resembles Graves’ current set of abilities. Urgot’s got AOEย damage on his auto attacks thanks his Passive, he has a dash that’s shorter range than Graves’, and his Corrosive Charge ability is an AOEย cannisterย that explodes on the ground.

With those comparisons being made, many of the components that would go into Urgot’sย Pool Party skin could easily resemble those that Graves has. Splash damage from his Passive, a water balloon that explodes from his Corrosive Charge, and a watery dash could all be applied. Small floaties could be put around each of Urgot’sย six legs as well to make sure the Dreadnought is playing it safe while he’s terrorizing the Rift.

The list of skins that Urgotย needs after his upcoming release just wouldn’t be anywhere near complete if it didn’t have Star Guardian Urgotย finishing out the ranks as the most-wanted skin.

While the new Urgotย looks to be a much creepier version of his former self, a Star Guardian skin would be the polar opposite of that, a design that’s exactly what some champions need in their skins.

This idea isn’t new at all, but it’s one of the most often mentioned skins that players only half-jokingly request. If you’re a fan of custom skins, this version of Urgotย has already been created and just needs to be officially made by Riot Games.
