League Of Legends: Ornn's Siblings Might Not Be Who You Think They Are

Update: Ornn and his abilities have officially been revealed, but the identity of his siblings is still unknown.

League of Legends' Ornn has stirred up quite a bit of discussion about how the upcoming champion ties into the game's lore, and while we know the Frejlordian champ has some siblings, it's becoming difficult to pinpoint exactly who they are.

From the brief scribbles that were seen on the scrolls that composed Ornn's teaser, several indicators were provided that led to some sleuthing that would hopefully determine who the mysterious champ's siblings are. With talk of the "Three Sisters" appearing in the top corner of one of Ornn's underlying scrolls, many players though the obvious answer would be Lissandra, one of the three ancient siblings from Frejlord. Despite how sure players might've been about the guess, some Rioters have already stepped in to say refute the suggestions.

"I have yet to see anyone of the boards accurately guess who Ornn's siblings are," said Riot Reav3 when a poster to the League boards added their thoughts to the speculation.

His statement rules out Braum as well since he's been guessed several times already, but that doesn't mean the two aren't connected somehow. The shield that Braum uses is imbued with ice magic, something that a smith from Frejlord would certainly be capable of, but the two supposedly aren't siblings.

That comment went up on the boards yesterday, but since then, another Rioter commented that some of the posts on the boards have correctly "guessed a couple" of the siblings. Reav3 replied to the comment today to add that some of the siblings had indeed been guessed as of now, but neither Rioter provided any additional details.

When asked how many siblings Ornn has, they responded even that information would be giving too much away by itself. Because of that, it might be better to look towards grouping of related champions with known relations to determine who his siblings are, but with how many there are in the game, it's still pretty difficult to do.

On top of that, we don't even know if Ornn is a human yet, something that opens up the possibilities even more. His brother could be Olaf or Malphite, or he could be related to Anivia for all we know so far.

Whoever his siblings are, the recent teaser for Ornn combined with the consistent speculation about the champ hopefully mean that we'll be hearing more about the mysterious champion very soon.
