“Emerging victorious after an incredible 5-game finals series, the legendary SK telecom T1 raised the Summoner’s Cup for the third time in four seasons, defending the throne as the best pro team in League of Legends,” a statement on the release of the League skins reads.
Created to commemorate SKT’s big win at the 2016 Worlds competition, these six champion skins and a new ward skin were created for each player on SKT’s team, including the coach. While most players will recognize Faker as the face of SKT โ and the professional League of Legends scene as well, for that matter โ the entire team’s performance has earned them both the champion’s title and these new skins.
Below is a list of each skin that’s available as well as the players on the team that each skin was made for:
- Duke โ SKT T1 Ekko
- bengi โ SKT T1 Olaf
- Faker โ SKT T1 Syndra
- Bang โ SKT T1 Jhin
- Wolf โ SKT T1 Nami
- Blank โ SKT T1 Zac
- kkOma โ SKT T1 kkOma Ward
These skins are be on sale for 1,350 RP each with the exception of the kkOma ward that is listed at just 640 RP, all of them being available from now until July 19. If you’re a die-hard SKT fan, you can pick up all of them at once with the SKT T1 2016 Set that will give you each of the skins and the ward for 8,420 RP, raised to 11,203 RP if you need the champions as well. Twenty-five percent of all the sales made from the SKT skins will go to the team, the players, and the LCK teams that played against SKT.
While some players might be surprised to hear that the SKT skins don’t have custom sounds right now, that feature will be added in soon. Rioters responded in a previous statement about the skins that they’d be adding in sound effects in the 7.14 patch to stay in line with player expectations for that price point.
