The Nintendo Switch has seen a large assortment of indie titles over the past year, and it looks like that trend will continue in 2018, with a number of developers providing more games for it. And amongst those is Renegade Kid’s Xeodrifter, a fun little Metroid-style space adventure that’ll be coming to the system this year.

The game, which originally released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS Vita, 3DS and Wii U, has you playing a space soldier that explores a gigantic station, taking on enemy aliens and other threats while trying to keep his energy in check.

Xeodrifter was hinted at earlier today on Twitter, when development team Atool showed an image of the game running on Nintendo Switch hardware. You can see the tweet below, along with the image of the game โ€“ and it’s looking pretty sharp.

A release date and price for the game haven’t been given yet, but it’s expected sometime over the next few months. And the other versions go for around $10, so this one should be in the same boat.

You can check out Xeodrifter on other platforms now.
