Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Release Date Revealed in New Trailer

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will release on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4th. With this reveal, Nintendo has put the discussion of delays to rest. Samus’ next adventure was first announced in 2017 and quickly became one of the most highly anticipated games on Nintendo Switch. This release date also gives Metroid Prime 4: Beyond enough breathing room after the release of Kirby Air Riders.

The new trailer showcased more of what fans can expect from Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. One of the most notable features was Samus riding a motorcycle, which served both for travel and combat. This new feature opens up even more movement for the space bounty hunter and looks to be fast-paced fun.

Retro has been working hard on Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and bringing the series to modern audiences. Metroid Prime saw a remake on Nintendo Switch, and while fans are still hoping for Metroid Prime 2 and Metroid Prime 3 to follow suit, the fourth game looks to be the most ambitious entry yet.

With the December release date, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be able to capitalize on the Christmas shopping season. As it is releasing on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, fans of both consoles can continue Samus’ journey.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is available for pre-order ahead of its December 4th release date. Fans can pre-purchase it for $59.99 on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. This option is available digitally through the Nintendo eShop or physically through various retailers. Pre-ordering guarantees you’ll be ready on release day.
