As you can see, it starts off awesomely, with some hints at a bigger encounter to come with a mysterious queen, as well as a number of dangerous creatures that are roaming the land.
Fortunately, your character won’t be powerless, as you’ll be able to take down enemies in a number of ways, and even mount a dragon to unleash fiery fury on your opponents. You’ll still have your hands full, but it never hurts to get some fiery assistance where you need it.
The game looks beautiful thus far, and there’s no doubt it’ll support the Xbox One X as well, so you can get even more high-powered visuals out of this danger-filled world.
You can check out the trailer above, which features a familiar Lord of the Rings aura about it – and will no doubt have you excited for the game when it drops this October.
But what if you don’t have a game system to play Shadow of War on? Relax, Microsoft has you covered. The company has announced that it will be releasing two special edition bundles that feature either a 500GB or 1TB sized hard drive, a white console and a controller, and a copy of Shadow of War to download. The systems haven’t been priced yet, but they’ll likely to be around the same price as the $300 or so bundles that are on the market. They’ll release the same time as the game, on October 10th.
It’s strange we’re not getting an Xbox One X bundle tho. Come on, Microsoft!
The game will also be available for PlayStation 4 and PC, if you want to take that route.
