The recent launch of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has put what gamers love about the Animal Crossing games into their smartphones and tablets. Many were excited when the game went live earlier than expected, though as is the case with many launches - there were a few hiccups.

The server issues that have rocked the game since launch have been consistent and left many without the ability to even access the base game. Nintendo has been working non-stop to correct the issue and offered a heart felt apology alongside a free little in-game gift. As a gesture of good faith, the company is awarding players with 20 Leaf Tickets as they continue to work on the issue at hand.

Both the Leaf Tickets and a note of apology can be found in-game:

"The issue is still occurring intermittently, but please be aware that we are investigating it and will resolve it as soon as possible. Thank you to those users who have contacted us or left feedback regarding this issue."

Apology

The tickets themselves can be claimed once players log in within the next month. It's a nice little gift, as the Leaf Tickets are the title's in-game currency. The server issues won't last forever, but that sweet loot you can get with those new tickets sure can last awhile.

For those that might not have checked out the latest game yet:

"Get back to nature in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the new Animal Crossing mobile game where you take on the role of campsite manager!

You're in charge, so you can decorate your own campsite however you like! Make it fun, make it cute, make it sporty—it's up to you to craft the kind of furniture and amenities that will make your camp a must-see for animals visiting the area."

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is available now for iOS and Android devices.
