Microsoft produces a fine line of custom Xbox One S consoles these days, including a special Minecraft model, a 2TB Gears of War 4 model that did very well with fans last year, and a number of other designs that were both practical and eye-catching. But if the publisher was smart, it would commission the artist responsible for making this remarkable Xbox One S Ori and the Blind Forest system.
A Twitter user by the name of XboxPope (@GeordieTommy_) managed to design a console based on the forthcoming sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps, featuring a moodily designed dark and light purple Xbox One system with the logo on top, as well as a custom controller to match, featuring redesigned analog sticks, a sharp silver D-pad, and black buttons. This person definitely took their design to the next level.

“You may want to share and like my updated version and maybe a shout out @RobotBrush @Shpeshal_Ed @redneptonic” the artist noted, no doubt giving support to his team that helped put the system’s design together.
It’s simply spellbinding, and we have a pretty good feeling that the game’s developers at Moon Studios may want to get their hands on this design โ and maybe give a few away to their fans as well.
Will of the Wisps was officially announced at Microsoft‘s previous pre-E3 2017 press conference, much to the delight of fans who enjoyed the original Ori and the Blind Forest, which is considered one of the best indie games for the Xbox One platform. A release date wasn’t given yet, but the game is expected to release sometime in 2018, with enhancements for the Xbox One X console.
Congrats to XboxPope on his awesome design of the system, and, again, we’d love to see Microsoft make this an official system down the road, mainly because it’d be a blast to play on โ even if it’s not necessarily an Ori game. It would just put us in a great gaming mood with its colors and design. It makes us wonder if XboxPope would be interested in custom orders. Hmmmโฆ
