Did you love Bethesda’s 2016 reboot of DOOM?! We did, too. Now it’s time to experience DOOM in a way we never thought possible: in Virtual Reality. For those of you wondering how DOOM could possibly work in VR, there will be a few mobility solutions in place to help you navigate without barfing everywhere. Moving in virtual reality is not always a pleasant experience, but teleporting works very well and helps you keep your lunch down. From what we can tell, this will be the preferred method of navigation in DOOM VFR.
“Doom VFR transports you to the UAC facility on Mars and the depths of Hell, as your skills are put to the test through intense combat. Set shortly after the demonic invasion on the UAC’s Martian research facility, you are the last known human survivor โ until your death. Under a top-secret UAC operational contingency protocol, your consciousness is transferred to an artificial brain matrix. Your designated purpose: restore operational stability and use any means necessary to stop the onslaught of demons.”
