With Call of Duty: WWII set to drop in just a few months' time – and the beta happening this weekend – fans are gearing up for what could be an extraordinary return for the series. And they're looking for the best way to express their love for its return to World War II. Well, we may have found something that will help you along.
Activision has announced that it is working on a limited edition Call of Duty: WWII themed Modify Watch, and you can check it out in action in the attached gallery. Going for $74.95, the watch will be made in very limited numbers (we're talking about 50 in all), and it will be made available exclusively through the Call of Duty Official Store when it becomes available.
For that price, the watch is certainly worth it. It comes with a stainless steel backplate in a gunmetal casing, along with an interchangeable nylon wristband. In addition, it's very high quality, and is also water resistant for up to five ATM, so you can do a little diving with it if you prefer. (Just not too deep, you know?)
The watch also features a faceplate with the traditional military star on the front, looking like it's on the side of a tank with its button markings. The game logo is also present on the right hand side of the logo, so you know it's an official Call of Duty: WWII watch. It also has a wind-up switch on the side so you can set the time accordingly, just like a good old-school timepiece.
Again, this is likely to go very fast, since only a handful of the watches are being made, so it never hurts to keep tabs on the official store so you can get your orders in, alongside your pre-order of the game. It's likely to be made available at the same time as the game, so you can tell just what time you have to kick ass with it.
You can check out Call of Duty: WWII when it releases on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Be sure to check out this weekend's beta!
