Digital Extremes has finally announced when the Plains of Eidolon expansion for Warframe will be coming to the console platforms for the game. And good news; the release date is a lot sooner than you'd think!

Plains of Eidolon will be making its way onto the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on November 14th, so fans of the free-to-play third person shooter can expect to get that console fix in soon. The PC version is already out now, and the response has overall been incredibly positive. If you haven't seen the trailer for it yet, check out the video below:

"For the first time in Warframe history, explore, fight, journey, and fly through the open Landscapes of Planet Earth. Visit the bustling town of Cetus, and meet its scavenger inhabitants, the Ostrons. Protect Cetus and it's people from the Grineer patrols with parkour, stealth, or by air in your Archwing on the Plains of Eidolon.

Welcome to the Plains of Eidolon. Sentients once fought on this battleground in an attempt to destroy a massive Orokin Tower that the Ostrons now call home. The Sentients' defeat is forever immortalized in the ancient graveyard that litters the Landscape.

Time in the Plains cycles the same for all Tenno. For every 100 minutes of beautiful sunshine, there are 50 minutes of haunted night"

The world is expansive, to say the list, but with the cyclic environmentals and the new areas to explore - Plains of Eidolon is the perfect expansion to an already incredible experience. For those that already own the base game, which is also free, to play the latest adventure costs absolutely nothing but your time. That being said, it is well worth the download, especially for those long-time Warframe fans.

Originally released back in 2013, Warframe is now available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC with the latest expansion making its way to consoles this November 14th.
