It seems Sega‘s Yakuza team is keeping busy. Yesterday at a Tokyo reveal event, Sega announced the folks behind Yakuza are working on both a new Fist of the North Star game, and Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Yakuza Kiwami, which has yet to arrive in the West, is a remake of the series’ first game, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 is, naturally, a Yakuza 2 remake. Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be made with the same engine as Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, and will feature a new scenario where you can play as popular supporting character Majima Goro. You can check out the debut trailer for the game, above. It’s appropriately dramatic/silly stuff.

Sega is really rolling out the red carpet for Yakuza Kiwami 2 in Japan, with the game getting its own limited edition PS4 model. The Yakuza Kiwami 2 Edition PS4 is emblazoned with cool tattoo-inspired inspired art, and will come with its own special packaging. The system comes in either “Jet Black” or “Glacier White,” with 500GB or 1TB of storage. Scope out this sweet system, below.

So, is there any chance these newly-announced Yakuza team games will come to Western shores? Yakuza titles usually make it here eventually, but the Fist of the North Star game is questionable. Well, Sega just launched an English survey, asking fans whether they’d like to see Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Fist of the North Star localized. If you’re interested in either game, I suggest you take a second to make your voice heard!

The first Yakuza Kiwami comes out on PS4 in North America and Europe this week (August 29). Yakuza Kiwami 2 hits Japan on December 7, and a Western release has yet to be announced. Yakuza games usually take at least a year to localize, so prepare for a bit of a wait.
