With Mark Ruffalo's take on the Bruce Banner getting high praise from both fans and critics, isn't it time to start wondering when She-Hulk will get a chance at the big screen?
Ever since Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, made her first appearance in 1980, the Marvel comics' character has been a hit among fans. No matter how much love Walters receives, there still hasn't been any talk of the character appearing in the Marvel films.
While She-Hulk may not be on the immediate horizon, there is an actress out there who could be perfect for the role.
Rosario Dawson, who currently plays Claire Temple in Marvel's Daredevil series on Netflix, is many fans' top choice if She-Hulk is ever slated to appear in the MCU. One fan let Dawson know about their desire for her to take on the role, and the actress didn't shy away from is.
Dawson replied that she would be 'honored' to play the role of Walters. While that doesn't mean anything in terms of an actualy casting choice, it does accomplish two things if She-Hulk is in Marvel's plans.
Would be honored to assume the responsibility...! https://t.co/9AWic66aPt— Rosario Dawson (@rosariodawson) December 7, 2016
It first shows that a talented actress, who has experience with Marvel, would be willing to play the character. Secondly, it proves that there is enough fan interest to back a She-Hulk film.
That could go a long way to the studio choosing to include the character in Phase 4 or 5 of their cinematic universe.
Do you think Dawson would be a good choice to portray Jennifer Walters? Are you excited to see her return as Claire Temple? Let us know in the comments below!
