YouTuber stryder HD cut up scenes from the Hellboy and Ghost Rider films to give fans a battle between the two characters we haven’t even seen in comic pages.
Ghost Rider v Hellboy depicts the two titular characters going to war after Hellboy is propositioned by the Devil to save his father.
There are some tricky edits and effects toward the end, putting Johnny Blaze and Hellboy in the same shot for key action sequences.
It’s one of those “why didn’t I think of that?!” mashups that makes sense, given how similar the characters’ origins and obligations are.
And the hint toward the plot takes a lot of the hokiest parts of the Ghost Rider (2007) film and gives it new context with the addition of Hellboy, while matching similar visual effects between Selma Blair’s Liz Sherman and Nicolas Cage’s Johnny Blaze.
