The upcoming film has very few details about its plot, crew, or official title so far. For now, we know that it will center around Miles Morales rather than Peter Parker, with the central character being voice by Shameik Moore who is best known for his role in Dope. Leiv Schreiber, known for his role as Sabretooth in 20th Century Fox’s Wolverine films, will be voicing an unnamed villain.
The cast will be directed by Bob Persichetti who previously helmed The Little Prince and Peter Ramsey of Rise of the Guardians. The script is being penned by The LEGO Movie‘s Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
