Marvel is knee deep in Secret Empire, which is taking most of the attention at the moment understandably. Marvel‘s Generations series will also play a big part in shaping the universe going forward, and the two will meet in the “Vanishing Point.”

Secret Empire #10 will reveal exactly what the vanishing point is, and how it figures into several of the classic heroes that are making their way back to the Marvel Universe.

The Alex Ross cover to Secret Empire #10 shows current heroes Miles Morales, Peter Parker, and RiRi Williams alongside departed heroes like Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, tipping its hat that the vanishing point might be the avenue to which they get back to the world of the living.

You can view the cover in the gallery.

As for Generations, the series will pair current and classic heroes in several one-shots, the full list of which you can view below.

Iron Man (Tony Stark and Riri Williams) โ€“ written by Brian Michael Bendis
Spider-Man (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) โ€“ Brian Michael Bendis
Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan) โ€“ G. Willow Wilson
Thor (Odinson and Jane Foster) โ€“ Jason Aaron
Hawkeye (Clint Barton and Kate Bishop) โ€“ Kelly Thompson
Hulk (Bruce Banner and Amadeus Cho) โ€“ Greg Pak
Jean Grey (young and older) โ€“ Dennis Hopeless
Wolverine (Logan and X23) โ€“ Tom Taylor
Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell and Carol Danvers) โ€“ Margie Stohl
Captain America (Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson) โ€“ Nick Spencer

Characters like Mar-Vell, Logan, Jean Grey, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner could all return depending on what the vanishing point really is, and that would be one way to give the heroes the upper hand against the Hydra Captain America. The full extent probably won’t be unveiled until the Generations one-shots, which don’t kick off until after Secret Empire, but it does seem that the two events will be heavily intertwined.

Hopefully, that explains why there’s another Steve Rogers running around out there. Guess fans will just have to wait and see.

The next issue of Secret Empire is issue #4, which is written by Nick Spencer with art by Rod Reis and Leinil Francis Yu. You can view the official description for it below.

There is a power that can either save the world or doom it! Both Steve Rogers and the heroes arrayed against him need this power! But unfortunately for all of them, the key to possessing this power lies in the hands of the unstoppable Ultron! LIVE IN X-CITING TIMES! SECRET EMPIRE!
