Last night, Agents of SHIELD continued its midseason comeback with “The Patriot.” The new episode delved deeper into SHIELD’s secret as Director Mace revealed a slew of his secrets, but it does not look like the tense episode was enough to draw fans in. In fact, according to ratings reported by TV By The Numbers, the Marvel series hit a series low in terms of ratings last night.

Clearly, Agents of SHIELD has a rough go of things Tuesday. The show only drew in 2.02 million viewers and fell to a series-low demographic pull of adults ages 18-19. Agents of SHIELD dropped down two tenths of a point, giving them a paltry 0.6 rating. In comparison, Chicago Fire and NCIS: New Orleans fared much better with their late-night showings. The former garnered 7.04 million viewers while 9.16 tuned into the latter.
