Black Panther made his debut in Captain America: Civil War, but fans might remember his nemesis showed up way back in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fans have anticipated his return, and now Marvel has confirmed his next appearance.

Actor Andy Serkis, who played Klaw in a brief sequence in Avengers: Age of Ultron, has been confirmed by the studio as showing up in Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther solo film. Fans suspected he would play a big part, but Serkis hasn’t been acknowledged by the studio until now. Fans have also seen Civil War actor Martin Freeman on set, but the studio has officially confirmed his presence in the film as well.

Freeman’s part will likely be close to his role in Civil War, but expect big things from Ulysses Klaw.

Joining Coogler is director of photography Rachel Morrison, A.S.C. (“Dope,” “Fruitvale Station”), production designer Hannah Beachler (“Creed,” “Fruitvale Station”), editors Claudia Castello (“Creed,” “Fruitvale Station”) and Michael P. Shawver (“Creed,” “Fruitvale Station”); along with costume designer Ruth E. Carter (“Selma,” Lee Daniels’ “The Butler”), visuals effects supervisor Geoffrey Baumann (“Doctor Strange,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron”), Academy Award®- winning makeup designer Joel Harlow (“Star Trek Beyond,” “Black Mass”) and seven-time Academy Award® nominee, special effects supervisor Dan Sudick (“Captain America: Civil War,” “Marvel’s The Avengers”).

Directed by Ryan Coogler (“Fruitvale Station,” “Creed”), “Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role alongside Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. The film arrives in theaters on February 16, 2018.
