Ahead of Thor: Ragnarok‘s theatrical debut in just a couple of weeks, Marvel Studios has released the newest trailer and poster for their next original film, Black Panther. Star Chadwick Boseman, who first appeared as T’Challa/Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, tweeted out the poster alongside the trailer’s release.
Boseman said that he wanted to bring fans the poster first, and teased the release of the film on February 16, 2018.

This is the third poster released for Black Panther, but the first featuring multiple members of the cast. The initial teaser posters just showed T’Challa sitting on a throne and standing on the top of a statue. This image actually shares a look at many of the characters in the film.
Joining T’Challa on the poster are Erik Kilmonger (Michael B. Jordan), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Zuri (Forest Whitaker), Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis), W’Kabi (Daniel Kaluuya) and Shuri (Letitia Wright).
Black Panther was directed by Ryan Coogler, and is set to hit theaters on February 16, 2018.
Other upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies include Thor: Ragnarok on November 2, 2017, Avengers: Infinity War on May 4, 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6, 2018, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, the fourth Avengers movie on May 3, 2019, the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 5, 2019, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
