New Captain America Avengers Assemble Statue Photos Released

Sideshow Collectibles’ Avengers Assemble lineup expands with a new look at the leader of Earth’s mightiest heroes, Captain America.

Sideshow has unveiled a new production gallery look at the 1:5 Cap ahead of the collectible’s September ship date. The 15″ resin statue comes complete with Captain America’s mighty shield and a craggy rock base, perfect for displaying the super soldier independently or as part of a larger environment alongside his Avengers team mates, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk.

The comic book accurate recreation features blue scale mail armor with the all-American hero equipped with his Vibranium shield and ready for battle. The sentinel of liberty is a limited edition of 1000 and stands at 15″ H (381mm) x 13″ W (330.2mm) x 12″ L (304.8mm). The Exclusive edition with a changeable head (featuring Cap’s classic helmet wing tips) is sold out, but the collector edition is available directly from Sideshow for $360.
