Since unicorns played a significant role in 20th Century Fox’s outstanding marketing campaign for Deadpool and made several appearances in the R-rated superhero film, it made sense for the Merc with a Mouth to honor the legendary creature on its special day.
On National Unicorn Day, the official Deadpool instagram page posted an image of a plush unicorn doll wearing chapless leather pants. The caption reads, “Don’t call. We’re busy.”

The image was originally posted a week ago by the film’s star, Ryan Reynolds, to celebrate Easter, and at that time, the caption read, “The Easter Bunny came.”
In the film, Deadpool stared into the eyes of a unicorn doll, while he furiously masturbated. An animated unicorn had a prominent role in the end credits, and Deadpool was seen rubbing its spiraling horn until it ejaculated a rainbow.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
On Blu-rayโข and DVD May 10.
