Luke Cage & Jessica Jones Shine In New Defenders Motion Posters

If all of this trash-talk between The Defenders continues, it’s going to be an exciting road to August. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are the latest members of the team to exchange some witty banter in two brand new motion posters.

Earlier this week, the entire team began jawing back and forth, as Twitter accounts of the various heroes posted a series of these posters. Each team member was seen hanging out where another typically resides, and each came with a comment that bashed the other. Iron First made fun of Jessica Jones’ tardiness, Luke Cage challenged Daredevil to a fight, etc.

On Thursday, the official Defenders account jumped into the action, and released two more of these cryptic teases.

The first features Jessica Jones, hanging out on the steps of Pop’s Barber Shop. The comment is telling Luke Cage to get the ‘swear jar’ ready.

The other poster features Luke Cage, but he’s not firing back at Jessica. Instead, he’s taking another shot at Daredevil. Harlem’s hero appears in front of Josie’s bar, and he’s telling Daredevil that he could find a much better drink on the other side of town.

This advertising makes it clear that The Defenders are going to have a difficult time learning to get along when the time finally comes. If you pay attention to their social media accounts, the four characters are always at each others throats.

Hopefully they can come to some kind of understanding by the time August rolls around.
