If there is one movie you should see in IMAX 3D this year, then it has got to be Marvel's Doctor Strange. The highly anticipated film will finally drop on Friday in the U.S., and moviegoers should expect to be charmed by the magical flick.

To celebrate the film's impending release, Marvel Studios had rolled out two new television spots for the movie which highlights its stunning visuals. Of course, Doctor Strange shines with its use of mind-bending imagery, and critics are raving that the film's cinematography is like nothing audiences have seen before.

Clearly, those boasts are full of hot air. Doctor Strange has already been certified 'Fresh' by Rotten Tomatoes, ranking the film as one of the Top Five Rated MCU projects on the site. The movie has also shattered box office predictions following its foreign debut last week. Industry insiders expected Doctor Strange to earn $55-60 million, but the film raked in more than $86 million in markets like South Korea and the U.K.

If you're still on the fence about Doctor Strange, then you it's time you read up on the film's reviews. Critics are calling the psychedelic film one of Marvel Studios' best, and ComicBook.com describes the blockbuster as "dazzling and inventive."

From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place – a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange – armed with newly acquired magical powers – is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Join Strange on his dangerous, mystifying, and totally mind-bending journey.

The cast features Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Into Darkness, The Imitation Game), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes), Michael Stuhlbarg (A Serious Man), Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) and Tilda Swinton (The Grand Budapest Hotel).

The film is directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister) and written by Derrickson, Jon Spaihts (Prometheus), and C. Robert Cargill (Sinister).
