Death of X is the four-issue limited series that will finally reveal what incited the conflict between the Inhumans and the mutants during the eight months following Secret Wars. It will also reveal how Cyclops died during that conflict.
With the terrible and deadly effects of the Terrigen Mists on mutants now revealed, Death of X sees Cyclops and Emma Frost moving against the Inhumans. Storm and Medusa try to come together to find a cure for the M-Pox, but not before the Terrigen Cloud heads to Madrid, where the first battle between Inhumans and mutants takes place.
Death of X is also setting the stage for Inhumans vs. X-Men, Marvel’s next big event, which will bring the simmering tension between the Inhumans and the mutants to a head and the two sides go to war.
Death of X #2 goes on sale in comic book stores and on digital comic book apps on Oct. 19, 2016.
