Thanos isn’t the type to take no for an answer, and really, seems like the type of person who even if given a yes might still consider killing you.

Take his actions thus far in Thanos #1, where the mad titan is well in keeping with his namesake and is quite peeved that someone has taken his former territory. Nothing really seems to harm him, including an admittedly impressive tank that Batman would be jealous of. Still, it doesn’t do anything but tick him off further, and when the cosmic insurance company gets ahold of it, it will likely be totaled.
Thanos is being written by Jeff Lemire with art from Mike Deodato, and Lemire recently described the book to ComicBook.com.
“It’s completely different and completely refreshing,” Lemire said. “The main attraction to doing this book was being able to dive into the dark side and tell a totally different type of book set in the Marvel U that is from a villain’s point of view. It’s forcing me to go to some new places with my writing and try new things.”
