To celebrate his return as Robbie Reyes, star Gabriel Luna reflected on a few of his favorite moments from the show. As you can imagine, one of these moments is the scene where Daisey and Gabe met, back in the season’s third episode.
If you need a refresher on the scene, you can watch the video above.
According to Luna, this scene, as well as the whole episode, was incredibly important to him. This was the test to find out whether or not Robbie could exist on the show, without turning into the Ghost Rider. Here’s what the actor had to say:
“What’s important to me about this scene and about Episode 403 as a whole is that it was the first test of whether or not we could do an episode where Robbie doesn’t transform once and we still are interested in his story. Ghost Rider is incredible, but would we find reasons to love and root for Robbie and his family (which starts to include Daisy somewhat as the season moves on) without seeing the Spirit of Vengeance. I think we did.”
Be sure to tune in to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this Tuesday, as the season comes to an exciting conclusion. Fortunately though, it won’t mark the end of the series. ABC announced on Thursday that SHIELD had been officially renewed for a fifth season.
