Marvel Legacy #1 will be written by Jason Aaron with art by Esad Ribic and Matthew Wilson, but that’s not where the list stops. Marvel is also adding artists Steve McNiven (Secret Empire), Russell Dauterman (Mighty Thor), Chris Samnee (Black Widow), Alex Maleev (Infamous Iron Man), Stuart Immonen (Amazing Spider-Man), Pepe Larraz (Uncanny Avengers), Jim Cheung (Astonishing X-Men), Daniel Acuna (Secret Empire), Greg Land (Weapon X), and Ed McGuinness (Spider-Man/Deadpool).

That’s quite the lineup and speaks to how far reaching Marvel Legacy #1 will be.

“Because the events of MARVEL LEGACY #1 impact on so many corners of the Marvel Universe and reflect the upcoming storylines in so many of our titles, it only made sense to call on the artists most associated with those titles to cement the connection,” SVP and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort said. “Plus, it means that this book represents a Murderer’s Row of artistic talent and a real showpiece for those who love excellent comic book graphics.”

Dauterman can’t wait for fans to see his piece of the project. “I was thrilled to join Jason, Esad, and Matt on LEGACY #1,” he said. “The bit I illustrated checks in with my corner of the Marvel Universe, the world of Thor, and teases our biggest story yet.”

You can see a new piece of art from the heavily anticipated issue in the gallery, which features a glimpse at the many artistic contributions.

Marvel: Legacy #1 hits comic stores on September 27, 2017.
